Taxi helps designers make the perfect editor experience for copywriters and marketers, so it's only right that designers too can make templates using the best tools for the job. That's why we're really excited that Litmus Builder now has full support for Taxi Syntax, our template language.
Using Litmus Builder to make Taxi Templates means designers can get instant rendering previews in over 50 email clients, as they code the HTML. And because Taxi Syntax was made to never impact the visual design, coders be confident that the final email code from Taxi will follow suit.

Email code is fiddly and filled with nuances | so when we designed Taxi we were keen to ensure that designers and developers can still be hands on with HTML code. We didn't want to make any assumptions about your code, and as a result you can code HTML whatever way you like.
Once you have built the perfect template, you can control how your code does and doesn't change when marketers and copywriters add their content. Taxi never changes your HTML structure, or removes or adds extra code | if you really want to have <tbody> tags everywhere, you'll need to add them yourself. Finally, when you export send-ready HTML from Taxi into your sending platform, we strip out all evidence of our syntax.
