This week, in the wake of Black Friday, we pushed some small features that have been on the list for a while.

Cmd+S to Save

You can now use Cmd+S (or Ctrl+ S) to save when you're adding content in the editor.

New Align field

As designers build more complex templates for Taxi, a common request has been giving control over alignment. The new Align field returns a value of left, right or center, and can be added using the <field> tag. Read more in developer resources.

Export History

The Export section is now named "Export history" | in this section you can download previous exports, access previously generated scrape URLs and check the status from your ESP connectors.

Fixes & updates

  • We fixed an issue where sometimes modules would get stuck when being moved up and down.
  • If you click on the preview in the editor, any modules that are opened will now collapse (this matches the behaviour if you click on another module on the field list).
  • We fixed an issue that was affecting the ability to save for some users on corporate networks.
  • We fixed an issue that occurred in Chrome and Safari in the editor for templates with editable alignment for tables that are displayed over a VML background image when the alignment is set to right. It was largely Microsoft's fault.
  • As part of our work to ensure uptime over the Black Friday period, we optimised Taxi's ability to scale up during busy periods.
