This week we have been working on a new feature that will see the light of day soon. However we also managed to push some minor updates to help improve the editor experience.
Within a Taxi ModuleZone, you can add, re-order and remove modules from your campaign's layout. However, because of the way different versions within a mailing inherit their content from a master version, it is very difficult to truly remove a module. Therefore, what actually happens when you remove a module, is it is just hidden. Previously, when users hid a module in Taxi, it was still shown in the interface | however we quickly saw the interface getting cluttered with unused modules.
So we have redesigned this slightly | now when you hide a module, it is not shown in either the module list or the email preview. If you change your mind, you can retrieve the module by clicking on "Include hidden modules" at the bottom of the ModuleZone.
We have written a crib sheet for email developers who are adding Taxi Syntax to a template. Take a look here.
