I look after the product, and make sure we are doing our utmost to deliver the best experience to our users. My team design and build the product, and look after technical operations. I spend a lot of time talking with other teams in Taxi and our customers so that we can make good decisions when building the product.
I've learnt a lot about the email marketing industry and the people in it. I was surprised at how difficult it can sometimes be for marketers to carry out even the simplest of tasks, and how much they achieve despite this.
We've been really lucky and found a great team who work well together - ambitious but also friendly.
Pasta. I feel I could live entirely on pasta (although perhaps this isn't good nutritional advice).
I love New York City for its energy. Taxi is based in London and NYC has that same energy and excitement that you only find in a few big international cities. The food is great too.
